Freestone County Commissioners voted unanimously to utilize county funds and resources to create a petition for the removal from office of Constable Pct. 4 Kenneth Sessions during a special called meeting held on Friday, April 10, 2026.
Following an executive session, and with no open discussion, Commissioner Pct. 1 Andy Bonner made the motion and all others voted in favor.

Also at this meeting, commissioners approved the following:
–Minutes of March 18, 2026, regular meeting
–Payroll
–Reports from JP 1, JP 3, TVFD, Senior Services, Tax Office
–Special Road Use Agreement Bond
–Plat/Replat of land in Pct. 4 on CR 1366 for Singto Group
–Education Certificates for employees
–Award bids for roof construction on Annex I (County Clerk’s Office) & Annex III (Federal Building) to The Roof out of Waco
Freestone County Commissioners include Andy Bonner (Pct. 1), Will McSwane (Pct. 2), Richard McGowan (Pct. 3), Clyde Ridge, Jr. (Pct. 4), and Lloyd Lane (County Judge).
Their regularly scheduled meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month in the 2nd-floor courtroom.
