The Freestone County Sheriff’s Department has seen an outpouring of support over the past few weeks from multiple sources.
Grace Tabernacle Church had a luncheon for First Responders, Law Enforcement Officers and Veterans.
Each deputy was delivered a Goodie Baggies on Thank on Officer Day by Ace Bail Bonds.
The Lion’s Club presented a fresh fruit basket showing appreciation for all that the Sheriff’s Department does.
Funding was donated by Sanderson Farms allowing the Sheriff’s Department to purchase new digital cameras and accessories for each of the Patrol Deputies.
Fire Baptist Church of Fairfield, Jones Chapel United Methodist Church, Iglesia Bautista Alfa y Omega and the Freestone Medical Center had a First Responder’s Luncheon this past Friday with many door prizes being awarded.
There is also another way appreciation is shown; when the Sheriff’s Department shares on social media, they receive a great number of ‘likes’. Frequently words of kindness are shared as well.
