K.C. Wyatt, Chairman of the Board of Community National Bank & Trust, has announced senior management changes pending his retirement as Chief Executive Officer of the bank.

Rusty Hitt was promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Hitt has been with the bank for over twenty years and has held past positions of President and Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. He graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, as well as from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU.  Mr. Hitt also serves on the board of Community National Bank & Trust.

Tim Stites was promoted to President. Mr. Stites previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer and has been with the bank for 34 years. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Oklahoma State University and also serves on the bank’s board of directors. He follows in the footsteps of his father, Zane Stites, who also served the bank as President.

“We have been planning this transition for some time and anticipate no significant changes in the operation of the bank,” said Wyatt. “Rusty will continue to provide oversight with his lending expertise and Tim will be very active on the operations side of the bank, especially with our expanding branch network.”

Community National has locations in Corsicana (two), Buffalo, Burleson, Fairfield, Frost, Lake Worth, Mineral Wells, Possum Kingdom, Red Oak, Richland Chambers Lake, Weatherford and White Settlement. The bank is owned by Community Bank Holdings of Texas based in Corsicana and has assets of approximately $720 million with 182 employees.
