3rd Annual Blue Santa

The Fairfield Police Association is having its 3rd Annual Blue Santa Toy Drive, now through December 21, 2016.
Donate new, unwrapped toys to benefit local children in need, ages 2-13. Items such as stuffed animals, dolls, puzzles, books, and actions figures are greatly appreciated.
Donations may be dropped off at the following locations: Wells Fargo Bank, Freestone Credit Union, Farmers State Bank, Capps True Value, Randall’s Barber Shop, and Brookshire Brothers of Fairfield.
Cash donations may be made at Freestone Credit Union.

Stuff Stockings with Texas Farm Credit

Texas Farm Credit is collecting toys and clothing for a family in need.
The family consists of a Mom and her six children.
The person who nominated this family noted that the kids need clothes, but would love some toys this Christmas.
This mom doesn’t know she has been nominated, so it would be a wonderful surprise for everyone!
Sizes needed: Male-3 yrs old (3T/4T), Female-5 yrs old (4T), Male 12 yrs old (boys Medium), Male-12 yrs old (boys Large), Female-15 yrs old (14/16), and Female-17 yrs old (18/20).
Donations may be dropped off at Texas Farm Credit located at 435 West IH-45 in Fairfield.

Backpack Ministry for School Children During Holidays

First Baptist Church of Fairfield’s Women’s Ministry is accepting monetary donations for The Backpack Ministry.
Donations will be accepted now through December 7, 2016.
All money donated will be used to provide nonperishable treats and eats for local children while away from school.
You may take your donation by Accessories, Etc. at 115 E. Commerce St., Fairfield, Texas.

 

6th Annual Toy Drive at True Vine DOXA

True Vine DOXA Center is hosting its 6th Annual Toy Drive, now through December 18, 2016.
Drop off locations are: Freestone Credit Union, Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, and County Officials’ offices.
The church is also hosting a ‘Jingle All The Way’ event on December 17, 2016 beginning at 9:30 a.m. with breakfast. Morning worship will start at 11:00 a.m. with guest speaker Pastor Robert Smith of River of Life Family Worship Center.
Pastor Michael and Navlet Daniels invite all to attend.
