Claudette Hicks, 76, of Streetman, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 in Tyler. Graveside services were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Greenwood Cemetery in Teague, Texas with Dr. Richard Heyduck officiating.


Mrs. Hicks was born April 22, 1944 in Gilmer, TX to parents Claud and Ima Heitt Black. She grew up in Longview, TX and was a longtime Freestone County resident.

She married Dr. Allen Hicks, DVM on August 22, 1964 and he preceded her in death on June 6, 2010.

Claudette married Bentley Hall on July 9, 2016.

She was well known for her skills as a softball pitcher and barrel racer. She was an all-out adventurer.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield and a former member of the hand bell choir at the church.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Bentley Hall; three children, Brad Hicks of Teague; Jennifer Coward and husband Sam of Forney, TX; Tyler Hall and wife Ashley of Norfolk, VA; eight grandchildren, Greer Hicks, Holden Hicks, Jackson Coward, Jameson Coward, Case Coward, Charlotte Hall, Maylee Hall and Bentley Hall.
