Spring Revival at Antioch

Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Located on FM 1364, off of Hwy 84, East of Fairfield will begin our Spring Revival on Thursday night, March 23.

Services will begin at 6:00 p.m. each night and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.

There will be different speakers each service and special music in each service.

March 23 – Thursday, – Pastor Roy Duncan, pastor of The Antioch Church of Palestine. Pastor Duncan has been pastor of Antioch church in Palestine for over 20 years. He is a man who loves God and people.  We are also excited that at least a portion of the choir from Antioch will be with us and with Choir director, Trina Bass, they will lead us in worship before the message.

March 24 – Friday – Pastor Carl Clark, pastor of Corinth Baptist Church of Dew. Pastor Clark has been preaching the gospel for 25 years. The Lord has used him to serve in Corinth Baptist Church for the last 18 years. His desire and passions are seeing people saved and delivered from their sin by the finished work of Jesus Christ. I am so blessed to be used by the Lord to preach His gospel.  Pastor Clark’s two daughters will present the special music for this night.

March 25 – Saturday – Pastor Melvin Shead, Sr., Pastor in Tennessee Colony. Pastor Shead, serves as pastor of two churches in the Tennessee Colony community. These two churches along with his ministry serve the needs of the people. Pastor Shead is also has a medical job in Dallas. He is truly a man of God who loves people.  The music on Saturday evening will be under the leadership of a group from the Palestine area. This group will include James Martin, son of Max Martin, pastor of Antioch and Cavin Dorsey, son-in-law of pastor Martin.

March 26 – Sunday – Retired Marine and Man of God – Rod Skelton of Montalba. Bro. Skelton is truly a man of God. He served our country in the Marine Corp. for several years, and then served in several other areas in many different parts of the world. But more than his dedication to America, he is dedicated to serving the Lord.  He and his wife have a ministry at some nursing homes in Palestine.

Annual Women’s Day at Mt. Zion Baptist Set for March 26th

Please join Mt. Zion Baptist Church for their Annual Women’s Day Worship Service on Sunday, March 26, 2017 beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Minister Bernice Willis of Abundant Life Church of Dallas, Texas will be the guest speaker.

 

Unity in the Community Brunch Hosted March 25th

Pyburn Church of God in Christ, Highway S. 75 in Fairfield, is hosting its annual “Unity In the Community Brunch” with Minister Lois Gatson as the speaker.

Event is Saturday, March 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Everyone is invited to come and listen to the word of God and brunch will be served.
