Community Easter Egg Hunt

First Baptist Church of Donie will sponsor a Community-Wide Easter Egg Hunt. It will be held on Saturday, April 8th, at the Donie Community Center, weather permitting. There will be games, a hot dog lunch, and two Easter Egg Hunts. One hunt will be for preschool age and younger children and the second one will be for grade school children.

The celebration will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will last until 1:00 p.m. Registration for door prizes will begin at 10:45 am. There is no charge for any of the activities and it is open to all children through the 5th Grade. 38th Church Anniversary

New Birth Christian Center invites you to attend their 38th Church Anniversary on Sunday, April 9, 2017 beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Guest Speaker will be Pastor Lorenzo Hart of New Zion Baptist Church of Fairfield.

Theme comes from Matthew 16:13, which reads, “Upon this rock I will build my church: and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

New Birth Christian Center is located on FM 489 in the Butler community.
The church is led by Elder Daniel Gatson and First Lady Jean Gatson.

Churches Join to Host Special Simulcast

Several Fairfield churches have partnered together to reach into the entire community by offering an inspiring women’s conference!  Hear Priscilla Shirer teach the Word of God in a simulcast video Saturday, April 22, 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Fairfield, 201 N. Mount Street.

Priscilla’s desire is to see women come to a full understanding of who they are in Christ by hearing the uncompromising truth of Scripture.  Shirer has authored a number of published Bible studies, books, and devotionals.  She also starred in the Christian film War Room which has touched hearts around the world.

River of Life Family Worship Center and United Methodist Women from Oakwood Union, Jones Chapel and First United Methodist Church– Fairfield are jointly sponsoring this one day event.
