Christmas is just around the corner and area schools are gearing up to celebrate the Holiday Season. Here is a list of events happening at your Freestone County Schools this month.
Fairfield
–December 10th: High School & Sixth Grade Christmas Band Concert beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the H.S. Auditorium
–December 10th-13th: Peppermint Village at the Elementary School. From 8:30 – 2:30 daily, students may purchase gifts for their family and friends.
–December 11th: Deck the Halls Open House at Fairfield High School from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
–December 13th: Fifth Grade Honor Choir Concert at Intermediate Cafetorium beginning at 6:30 p.m.
–December 17th: Elementary School Christmas Musical at the Johnson Activity Center beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Teague
–December 13th: Lions Light Up The Hallways from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Santa arrives at 5:30 for the tree lighting ceremony. The Choir will sing in the Library, and the Theatre Production class will perform skits in the main hallway. The Junior High and High School Christmas Band concerts will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The performances will feature Holiday tunes and introduce Band Beaus & Sweethearts.
Dew
–December 11th: Christmas Band Concert beginning at 6:00 p.m.
–December 19th: Christmas Program beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Wortham
–December 11th: Ace Parent Night
–December 13th: Third Grade Musical in the Auditorium beginning at 6:00 p.m.
–December 19th: PreK Program in the Auditorium
–December 20th: Band Concert at Baptist Church CLC
–December 20th: PTO Polar Express for Elementary in the Auditorium
