This will be an unusual year, as Christmas Day and New Year’s Day both fall on a Monday.
As many of our readers know, Freestone County Times goes to press each week on Monday evenings, regardless of most holiday weekends.
That will not be the case for this month. The ‘Times’ office will be closed on Monday, December 25th and Monday, January 1st.
In order to accommodate these changes, deadlines for news and advertising will be 12 noon on the Thursday before.
So, if you need to get anything into the newspaper for our last edition in December, or the first edition in January, be sure to get it to us at least a week early.
