Fairfield Lake State Park is a gem located right here in Freestone County, and the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce August Business of the Month.
A short drive will bring you to this lovely lake that is brimming with fish, has a park like swimming hole, trails to bike and hike upon, and staff that just makes your day happier when you meet them.
Not to mention many love to go boating and bring their horse out for a ride. Others come out to watch the birds.
Then even more people come for everything the park offers and they stay a night or more in one of the park’s beautiful campsites.
