The children’s choir at Calvary Fairfield will take the stage this Sunday morning for the first of two Christmas programs to be presented by members of the local congregation.

The kindergarten through 6th grade students began practicing in September for the presentation and it’s always a great time each year to see the youngsters continuing to enhance their singing abilities.

Shelby Race, Music and Education Minister at Calvary, stated “The kids work extremely hard each Monday afternoon in practicing for their songs and parts in the program. Some of these students are first-time members of the choir and it’s always exciting to see the talent progress throughout the year.”

In this year’s program, students will be performing ‘Joy To The World’, ‘Mary Did You Know’, ‘Nothing Less Than The Best’, and ‘The King Is Born In Bethlehem’. Everyone from the community and surrounding area is invited to attend.

The program gets underway this Sunday morning, December 5th at 10:45 am in the church’s sanctuary. Calvary Baptist Church is located at 220 E. Main in Fairfield. “
