If you’re looking for a specific spiritual ministry to be involved in, Calvary Baptist Church of Fairfield may have exactly what you’re interested in.

The local congregation will be presenting their second annual Family Night during an open house event on Wednesday, August 9th, from 6:30-8 pm in the church’s Life Center. This year’s theme is ‘Welcome Home’ and will feature the vast number of ministry programs that visitors will find displayed throughout the evening.

Every ministry offered at Calvary will have a representative available to talk with. If you’re looking to be part of a growing congregation, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more and sign up for those programs that evening. From nursery care to programs for senior citizens, Calvary offers something for everyone.

“Our goal is that not a single individual be left out if they are seeking more than just a Sunday morning message”, offered Pastor Terry Skinner. “We would love to see our Life Center full of new faces if you are seeking a church home,” Skinner added.

“We at Calvary are constant looking to offer new programs to our community that will get folks plugged into the gospel of Jesus Christ”, stated youth minister Devin DiGuilio. “We’re excited to offer a new ministry called ‘GAP56’ which will begin this school year. It will be tailored specifically for fifth and sixth grade students.”

Visitors to each display can enter their name for door prizes which will be drawn at the conclusion of the event. Refreshments will also be available throughout the evening for those attending. Calvary is located at 220 E. Main. For more information, contact Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield at 903.389.2613.
