Downtown Fairfield was the place to be last weekend with works of art on wheels parked all around the courthouse square.

The twenty-third annual Show of Wheels put the spotlight on vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles, as well as a few farm entries from the Bi-Stone Antique Tractor Club.

The two-day event began with a Poker Run and Cruisin’ the Drag on Friday night.

Judges marked their favorites on Saturday afternoon as event-goers enjoyed food, shopping and live music.

“Thank you to all those that helped make our 23rd Annual Show of Wheels a great success, we could not have ask for better weather!” said the folks at Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.

“We would like to give a big shout out to our wonderful volunteers and the City of Fairfield for funding this event each year.

“Our car show folks drive from all over Texas to visit our show each year, we hope to always show them a good time.
