Bethney Marie Waldroup, 37, of Wortham passed away February 22, 2019 at her residence in Wortham. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Corley-Porter Chapel Wortham with Brother Roy Prather officiating. Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin. Visitation with the family present will be on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Corley-Porter Chapel Wortham from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Bethney was born November 18, 1981 in Irving, Texas to CW, Jr. and Carol Waldroup.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Waldroup and grandmothers, Elsie Melgoza and Almeda Poe.
Bethney is survived by her father, CW Waldroup, Jr. of Wortham; brother, Thomas Boyd & wife, Sarah of Canada; sister, Shannon Proulx of Wortham and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be CW Waldroup, Jr., Thomas Boyd, Haven Proulx, Haden Proulx, Hagen Proulx and Justin Batey.
