Big T Memorial starts this Friday, September 13th, 2019 at the W.L. Moody Reunion Fairgrounds with plenty of fun events planned in addition to all the delicious Bar-B-Que.

This Lone Star BBQ sanctioned event will offer first, second and third places in chicken, brisket and pork ribs with a special Best-Over-All winner.

There is a total payout of $15,000 plus the Cook’s Choice Calcutta, and the Pinto Beans Cookoff.

On Friday you can bring your best partner and play in the Dominoes/42 double-elimination tournament to win a set of custom dominoes.

If dominoes are not your thing, then enjoy the delicious aroma of the Cook’s Choice Calcutta as you walk around Friday.

Saturday you can check out the cook’s of all different ages around the grounds by following your nose to the Kid’s Cook-Off where boneless pork chops are the specialty.

Pinto Beans will be finishing up and turned into the judges Saturday morning, and to make sure your nose is in perfect working order you can enjoy the scents of chicken, pork ribs and brisket throughout the day.

If your nose is feeling a bit overwhelmed you can head over to throw some cornhole.

There will be a few different tournaments for all experience levels, so Saturday will be the day to find out that you are a secret Cornhole master.

Jerrett Zoch (formerly with Jerrett Zoch and the OSR Band), Colton Morman, and Connor Chapin(Threadbare Jesters) will take the stage that night with a fun-filled song swap.  Bring your chairs and coolers and settle down for a great night.

Most importantly, while you are enjoying all the amazing going on’s at Big T Memorial Cook-Off remember that proceeds benefit the Golden Circle Special Needs Association which helps provide funding for special needs children in this five-county region of Texas.

Big T Memorial is presented by the City of Fairfield and sponsors.
