CELEBRATING THE GRAND OPENING and joining of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is The Balloon Room!
The Balloon Stylist, Emily Goodson, offers all types of balloon setups and backdrops for events in Freestone County and surrounding areas.
The grand opening was held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, and offered refreshments, a tour, and a visit with the Easter Bunny.
Emily was joined by her husband Derek, and kiddos Lexi and Luke, and other family and friends, as well as members of the Chamber of Commerce.
“I started my balloon business in 2021, following the pandemic. I have always loved decorating and celebrating life’s special moments, and I quickly realized that you really can’t throw a party without balloons! What began as a creative outlet just doing it for friends and family has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined.
In January of this year, I officially opened my storefront, The Balloon Room, located on the Square in Fairfield. The Balloon Room allows clients to meet with me in person, explore different options, and design the perfect setup for their events.
I offer a variety of event décor including balloon garlands, backdrops, shimmer walls, marquee letters and numbers, arches, and custom vinyl. My goal is to help make birthdays, weddings, showers, school events, and community celebrations feel extra special.
Family is a big part of my journey. My husband Derek and our two kids are often right there helping behind the scenes, making this truly feel like a family business.
