“The lack of authentic Mexican food in this area is why we chose to open up shop,” explains La Sabrosita owner, Joselyn Roldan. “I also want to follow in my mother’s footsteps.”

La Sabrosita, located at 109 FM 27 West (across from Love’s Truck Stop), will be serving up authentic Mexican food, not Tex-Mex, using old family recipes passed down through the generations.

“My mother, Raquel, will be our chef,” explains Joselyn. “She is known for her homemade flour tortillas and tamales.”

Joselyn says that the menu is huge and they will also be offering all the Mexican cravings like street corn, fruit cups, and juicing.

La Sabrosita, which translate to ‘Tasty,’ will have its Grand Opening from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2018. During this time, guests can visit the location and try samples of various menu items.

Business hours will be Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. They can be reached by calling 903-915-4562.
