Trinity Star Arts Council (TSAC) announces its 14th annual scholarship, available for 2024 graduating seniors of Freestone County. The scholarship program, sponsored and administered by the Council, was established in 2011 to recognize and assist qualified students in their pursuit of higher education and a potential career in the arts. It is designed to help defray the cost of tuition, books, fees, and/or room and board.

Since its inception, the TSAC scholarship program has awarded a total of nearly $40,000, honoring talented artists Lane Stripling, Kenny Dorham, George Boyd, and Mary Wilson. This year TSAC will provide at least four $1000 scholarships.

Any eligible student currently attending high school in Fairfield, Teague, or Wortham may apply.

Applications are available through school counselors or online at trinitystarartscouncil.org. Completed forms will be due by April 22.

TSAC is a non-profit, non-discriminatory organization whose mission is to promote literary, performing, and visual arts through education and participation within the community of Freestone County.
