Trinity Star Arts Council (TSAC) is hosting not one, but two contests.

First is their Poetry Slam with a theme of “This is Me!”, there is no restriction on the length or type of poem, just that it must be original to the student and written independently.

It needs to be school appropriate, meaning no profanity or inappropriate content.

Once you have written your poem, you will need to video yourself speaking your poem. Not just speaking though, using your voice and your body to enhance your poem.

Then upload your video, remember that TSAC may use your video for awards, posting, archiving, celebrating, or anything else.

Social Media will be used to push out the Poetry Slam Padlet, and awards will be given at each campus.

TSAC and Frank Dent with The Dentage Marionettes are hosting another contest that will be due March 1, 2020.

Students may work individually or as a team, but they must select their characters from the Dentage Marionette collection.

Then create an original marionette script using studiobinder.com (free version accepted), only a script is needed.

Scripts must be original to student and written independently, while following the community guidelines.

Winning scripts will be performed in front of live AND recorded audiences.
