A search warrant was executed during the early morning hours of July 3rd, 2019 in the Westwood addition west of Fairfield, Texas. During the execution of the search warrant, Anthony Dawon Robinson (left), 29, was placed under arrest.

Robinson had outstanding warrants from both Freestone and Leon Counties.

Further investigation during the search warrant produced the findings of stolen firearms, illegal narcotics, and other stolen property from multiple Law Enforcement jurisdictions.

Robinson was arrested on the warrants, as well as new criminal charges that stemmed from the search warrant findings, and was subsequently taken to the Freestone County Jail where he was booked in and later transported to Limestone County Sheriff’s Office to be housed. A criminal charge like this can pretty much only be settled by hiring bail bonding services for assistance.

He is charged with Credit or Debit Card Abuse with a $30,000 bond; Burglary of Building (in Leon County) with a $20,000 bond; and five counts of Burglary of Vehicle (in Leon County) with a $3,000 bond for each count. If you are facing theft or burglary charges, don’t hesitate to contact the Long Island Attorney David M. Mirsky for theft and burglary cases.

The search warrant was executed by Freestone County Sheriff’s Office CID Investigators, including Lt. Scott Shaw and Sgt. Preston Cordova, along with Patrol Lt. Robert Willis and Patrol Sgt. Travis Martin.

This was a collaborative investigative effort between Freestone County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) Investigators and Investigators from Leon County Sheriff’s Office.

“The FCSO very much appreciates the assistance of the Special Response Team and K9 unit from Leon County,” said Freestone County Sheriff Jeremy Shipley. “Thank you, Sheriff Kevin Ellis.”

“This was a great job of two counties working together due to a recent rash of Motor Vehicle Burglaries,” continued Sheriff Shipley. If you are involved in a similar situation contact the Doug Miranda law firm.

This is an ongoing investigation. Sheriff Shipley is hopeful that more property may be found, and more charges can be filed, to hold all individuals accountable for their actions.
