In recognition of April being Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Child Welfare Board of Freestone County is hosting its annual Hotdog Lunch on the Lawn on Friday, April 10, 2026, on the Courthouse lawn.
Beginning at 11:00 a.m., County Judge Lloyd Lane will be co-starring on the grill with Freestone’s Finest Chef – Sheriff Jeremy Shipley, while our Child Welfare Board members and elected officials serve up Hotdog Lunch Plates for a $5.00 donation. Plates come with chips and a drink!
Come enjoy music and fellowship and wear blue while we show support to local children in need!
