You’re in Luck!! Trinity Star Arts Council. Inc. is gearing-up for “A Night at the Races,” a fun-filled evening with great food, music, prizes and friendly wagering on the ponies.
This unique event allows attendees to experience all the thrills of a Derby atmosphere while watching real horse races on a big screen. A professional race caller encourages guests to place wagers using “racing bucks” or play money and officiates live over each race, stirring up excitement while guests watch the fast paced, fist clenching photo-finish, filmed horse racing at its best. All racing films are sealed and secretly selected, so the winning horses are not known in advance. Winnings are paid out in ‘racing bucks’ which may be exchanged for raffle tickets.
Right out of the gate, guests will enjoy a social gathering starting at 6:30 p.m. with an opportunity to view raffle prizes and enter the Style Stakes (prizes will be awarded; so dress to impress: hats, bow ties and seersucker encouraged). Six races and drawings for prizes will follow.
Race Night will be held on Saturday, November 9 at Twisted Vines event venue.
