AgTrust Farm Credit will award ten graduating seniors from Texas and New Mexico a $2,500 scholarship. Each recipient’s home 4-H club or FFA chapter will receive $500.

AgTrust Farm Credit has a history of helping students involved in agriculture. One way is by supporting their education through our scholarship program. This program has shed light on the strength and knowledge young people bring to the future of agriculture.

“We are looking forward to awarding another group of deserving high school seniors with college scholarships this year,” said Joe Hayman, AgTrust Farm Credit’s chief executive officer. “It is inspiring to see applicants’ demonstration of leadership and enthusiasm regarding their agricultural endeavors.”

Supporting A New Generation of Agriculturalists

The future of agriculture depends on the financial success of New Generation farmers, and the diversity of the agricultural products we enjoy hinges on the success, in part, on the success of small producers.

Our New Generation mission is crucial to enable these farmers or ranchers the ability to begin, grow, or remain in agricultural production and to transfer agricultural operations from the previous generation.

We are proud to offer a 4-H and FFA program that provides financing to young agriculturalists. AgTrust Farm Credit wants to provide the tools necessary to equip our future businessmen and businesswomen with the skills necessary to make sound financial decisions in their adult lives.
