Don’t Miss the Super Sale on Saturday, April 25th
The Community Care Club (CCC), a women’s club on the south side of RC-Lake, presents its annual SuperSale fundraiser on April 25th and you don’t want to miss it!
CCC, which has been helping to improve the lives of folks who live in neighborhoods along FM 416 since 1991, puts together this barnburner of an event each year, and almost everyone in the entire Southside community is involved in one way or another.

Testing a chaise lounge donated for the 2026 SuperSale is CCC Member Valerie Steele. Proceeds go to the Club’s many charitable activities.
“It’s a ‘garage sale on steroids,’” says Mary Schutz, one of the coordinators. “The SuperSale does three distinct goodwill acts for the community. First, the SuperSale provides an outlet for everyone around the lake to get rid of usable items and know that they will go to someone who needs them. Secondly, the event provides items at bargain prices for folks who need them. Thirdly, CCC raises enough money by selling the many donated items to enable the Club to contribute to special projects that directly benefit the Southside community.”
“Yes, we do need your treasures!” she says. “If you have items you no longer want or don’t use anymore and they’re clean and in good shape, consider donating them to the SuperSale.”
Whether it’s home decor, linens, lawn and garden equipment, appliances of any size, tools, fishing and sports equipment, kitchen items, dishes, or pots and pans, we hope you’ll plan to bring them to the Fire Station on Drop-Off Day, Friday, April 24 between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
SuperSale Day is Saturday, April 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The event is being held at the Southern Oaks Volunteer Fire Station at 120 Southern Oaks Drive, just north of the closed Shell station on FM 416.
