Students from eight ESC Region 12 school districts participated in the Second Annual Spanish Spelling Bee on Thursday, February 22, 2024, in Waco.
This year’s event consisted of two age groups, 4th through 8th grade and High School.
Winners are as follows:
–4th-8th Grades: 1st place – Angela Solis, 2nd place – Fabian Torres, both from Groesbeck ISD.
–High School: 1st place – Gerardo Moya of Mexia ISD, 2nd place – Brenda Rodriguez of Teague ISD.
