Public school students will be out for Spring Break next week, March 11-15, 2024.
Wortham will have an Early Release day on Friday, March 8th and a Teacher Planning day on Monday, March 18th.
No early release posted for Dew, Fairfield or Teague schools at press time.
Faith Academy of Freestone will also observe Spring Break the week of March 11th-15th. Teachers will have a Professional Development day on Friday, March 8th (no students).

Teague Public Library will be holding some special activities during Spring Break beginning at 2:00 p.m. daily from March 11th through March 15th.
Events are as follows:
Monday – Arts & Crafts
Tuesday – Singing with Ms. Maria
Wednesday – Kids Bingo
Thursday – Texas Snakes
Friday – Pizza & Movie

Desserts by MommaCakes is offering special Sweet Storytime during the week of Spring Break, March 12th through March 15th at the restaurant.
Classes include the following:
Tuesday – Cookie Decorating from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for $15 per child.
Wednesday – Cupcake Decorating from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for $15 per child.
Thursday – Cake Decorating from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for $25 per child.
Friday – Tea Party & Etiquette Class from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for $25 per child.
Drop off is 1:50 p.m. All classes are for kids aged 6 and up.

Fairfield Library has revised their schedule for Spring Break week.
They will be doing their 3D Printing and Crochet & Knit Club at 2:00 p.m. (instead of 4:00) on Tuesday, March 12th.
Story Time will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, March 13th.
And on Thursday, March 14th at 2:00 p.m., join them to watch the new Wonka movie!
