The Jonathan Hardin Chapter, NSDAR Sponsorship Group is fundraising to support Wreaths Across America, specifically to earn sponsorships for 323 veterans’ wreaths to be placed at Driver, LaSalle, New Hope (Jewett), and Salem Cemetries on National Wreaths Across America Day – Sat., December 16, 2023.
The Chapter will participate in the Fairfield Community Wide Garage Sale on September 9th. All proceeds will be used to sponsor wreaths for our veterans buried at the above locations. We will be selling treasures from 7am – 1 pm.
We will have tables set up at 526 E. Commerce Street- parking lot. We thank Jeff Taylor with Edward Jones Investments for letting us use his parking lot for our sale.

Wreaths Across America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery begun by Maine businessman Morrill Worcester in 1992. The organization’s mission – Remember, Honor, Teach – is carried out in part each year by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies in December at Arlington, as well as at more than 3,700 veterans’ cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states and overseas.
