Burn Ban still in effect for Freestone County, unless it falls under an agriculture exemption, as of Commissioners Court this morning at 9:00am.
Whether it’s Ag Exempt or not, the wind should always be taken into consideration.

For a few weeks, the FCSO, with assistance from the District Attorney’s Office and the Constable Pct. 3 Office, have been gathering information and investigating a couple of oil field pipe thefts that had occurred around our county.
We are pleased to advise that two individuals have been arrested for the charge of Theft of Property > $2500 < $30k (State Jail Felony) for their involvement in the theft.
Good collaborative effort by all involved.
