Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield continues to offer exciting Wednesday night activities as their student ministry program continues to attract more local and area participants.

Doors to Calvary’s life center open each Wednesday night at 6:15 pm to allow some fellowship time before students are fed a light meal at 6:30 pm. Students are offered a different meal each week which rotates throughout the year. Meals include pizza, corn dogs, hotdogs, chicken nuggets, Frito pie, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti and hot ham and cheese sandwiches

Activities differ for each age group throughout the evening. Students study Bible scriptures and stories, work on craft projects and games are included for some following their study time. Parents can pick up their children each Wednesday night at 8 pm when activities have concluded.

“All Wednesday night activities are open to anyone in Fairfield and the surrounding communities,” youth minister David Skinner stated. “We encourage all students to bring their friends with them, regardless of what church they may be members of. This is a great time for kids to meet others and provides an opportunity for our staff to tell and teach them about the greatest gift God ever gave the world, the gift of salvation through His son Jesus Christ.”
