On Wednesday, October 21, the Wortham Varsity Band honored some of their band members for their hard work during the week and their Senior band members.
During the halftime activities, the band members of the week, Michelle Misini and Madison Newhouse, were announced.
The Senior band members were also recognized and presented with a basket from the Band Boosters. The Senior band members include Ashilyn Cartwright, Ben Havens, Travis Laminack, JJ Rojas, and Tristen Schamp.
The band’s next performance will be Monday, October 26, at 6:00 pm during the varsity football game that will be played in Mart. The band would like to thank the community for their continued support of the Bulldog Band! The Wortham Varsity Band is under the direction of Kevin Russell.
