Making something old back into something new are Heather and Steven Idlett (at left) with the Teague Farmer’s Market full of vendor’s supplying local foods, crafts, and more.

The Idlett’s pride and love of Teague shines as they discuss the Farmer’s Market and their hopes for the future.

Steven made it a point to say that, “What we want to tell everybody is we hope this is a big community deal. We want it to be Teague’s Farmers Market, not just ours.”

The Idlett’s had a vision of bringing the old Farmer’s Market back and giving everyone in the community something fun and exciting to look forward to.

Steven Idlett tells a story on seeing the place abandoned and how him and Heather realized that, “Man, it would be really cool to turn that back into a Farmer’s Market and get everybody excited again.”
