Freestone County Jail is fully repopulated and taking inmates from Fairfield.
Fairfield Chief of Police David Utsey explained that about a month ago they were able to take inmates in till 8:00 p.m.
He further explained that they have had absolutely no problems or issues with the reopening of the jail.
