Teague Public Library has seen a major change recently.
The Friends of the Library, who provided funds for the recent renovations, are hosting a Book Sale at the community center Wednesday, September 25th 2019 through Saturday, September 28th 2019.
Earlier this year you would walk into the library and the shelves were to your left just a small bit in, and in the back where the children’s books. Now, courtesy of donations, the Library has a new updated and open layout.
The Children’s section has been moved to the front of the library, making the library feel open and spacious.
Children can now read, play with toys, and learn to not only read, but to love the library in a safe place where they can be monitored.
The Texas room is still in the front vault, with the romance room residing in the back vault. Other rooms provide additional books, and quiet spots to relax in as you read.
Additionally, they will be having a Bingo Night at the Community Center starting at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5th, 2019.
