The citizens of Freestone County would like to extend a special invitation to you and your group, organization, or club to participate in the 2019 Freestone County Fair & Rodeo Parade. The event will be held in historic downtown Fairfield, Texas.

Help celebrate this year’s theme: “A Texas Tradition.”

Freestone county fair kick off parade is Monday June 10th at 7:00 p.m.

With over 100 entries, many old pros, and a large group of newcomers, this year’s event is sure to be a blast.

Prize money will be awarded for the coveted “Spirit of Freestone” trophy, as well as awards for Most Creative, Most Entertaining, and Most Beautiful.

Special prizes will be awarded to Best Dressed Cowboy and Best Dressed Cowgirl.

All entries will be announced by local radio celebrity, Buzz Russell, during the parade.

Entry forms are available at area newspapers and the Texas 99 radio station.

All entry forms must be submitted by June 7th.

There is no fee to enter.

On the day of the parade, entries must be in place by 6:00 p.m. for judging. Parade begins promptly at 7:00 p.m.

For safety, there is to be no throwing of items, such as candy, on parade route.
