A local man, Scott Robinson, was struck and killed on Wednesday morning, March 6th on East Highway 84 near Pleasant Hills Children’s Home. According to the DPS Report, at around 2:25 a.m. that morning, Mr. Robinson, for unknown reasons, abandoned his vehicle in the east bound ditch and began walking bare-footed in the west bound lane. Another man, traveling west bound in his truck, struck Robinson when he stepped out in front of the moving vehicle. The driver was not injured and will face no charges in this unfortunate accident. Robinson’s body was transported to Dallas for an autopsy. Justice of the Peace Pct. 1 – Theresa Farris pronounced Robinson deceased at the scene. Nicole Schaefer reporting
