NAMED TABC STUDENT ASSISTANT OF THE YEAR is Teague Lady Lion manager Layla Knight.
Layla is a junior at Teague high school. She goes above and beyond for Coach Nickleberry and the lady lion players.
“This award is very deserving. I lost a good manager; and Layla stepped right in. I’m glad TABC recognizes the people that make things happen behind the scenes,” says Coach Nickleberry.
