Freestone Medical Center recently announced the resignation of Stace Holland, Chief Executive Officer for the hospital for the past year.

Taking his place, as interim, is Ron Hunt, who has served as Chief Financial Officer for FMC for the past year.

Effective immediately, Hunt will serve concurrently as Interim CEO and CFO, until such time as another Interim CEO can be identified. A Seasoned healthcare executive, Hunt has experience as a hospital CEO with Community Hospital Consulting (CHC), as well as with other organizations. CHC is the managing and consulting firm for FMC.

Hunt joined FMC fist as Interim CFO early in 2017 until his role became permanent in May 2017.

During his tenure, he created the finance department, developed staff, and has steered the hospital in meeting its financial goals. He will continue in close collaboration with CHC and the Freestone Governing Board.
