Palestine Community Theatre will hold auditions for their Spring musical, “Bingo! The Winning Musical,” on Saturday, January 14, at 10:00 a.m. at the historic Texas Theatre, 213 W. Crawford St., in downtown Palestine. Those auditioning will be asked to sing a short selection and read from the script.
Performances will be during Dogwood Trails on March 31st, April 1st and 2nd, and April 7th through 9th.

In this play, complete with audience participation and prizes, a group of friends who are die-hard Bingo fans brave a horrendous storm to celebrate the anniversary of their favorite pastime.
As the games progress, love blooms with the Bingo caller, and flashbacks reveal a falling out between friends. It takes a daughter’s disguise and lots of laughter to repair the rift, but “happily ever after” is finally had by all.
Tickets for this Spring production will be available in February at www.thetexastheater.com/ticket-info.html and at the Palestine Chamber of Commerce, Palestine Visitors Center, Blake Furniture, and Discount Pools. Adult tickets are $15, and students ages 4 to 18 are $10. The customary, complimentary reception will be held Friday, March 31, at 6:30 p.m. prior to curtain at 7:30 p.m.
