Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, McLennan County will host the annual Blackland Income Growth Conference Recertification program on January 10, 2024, at the BASE-Extraco Events Center, 4401 Bosque Blvd, Waco TX 76710.

This program will offer 5 CEUs (1 L&R, 2 IPM, and 2 general) to put toward recertification of your TDA pesticide license. Tyler Mays, CEA-IPM with Hill County will speak on Herbicide Traits & Technology; Brandi Kelm, Inspector for Texas Department of Agriculture will present on General Laws & Regulations; Steven Bardin of Texas Pro Lake Management will lead a discussion on Managing Ponds & Lakes for Fish Production; Zach T Davis, CEA Ag for Hill County will present on Use of Pesticide Toxicants and Other Methods to Control Feral Hogs; Dr. Kevin Ong, Director of the Texas Plant Disease Diagnostic Labs will present on Persistent and Emerging Landscape Plant Diseases in Central Texas.
