Trinity Star Arts Council (TSAC) is offering its 15th annual scholarship, available for 2026 graduating seniors of Freestone County.

The scholarship program, sponsored and administered by the Council, was established in 2011 to recognize and assist qualified students in their pursuit of higher education and a potential career in the arts. It is designed to help defray the cost of tuition, books, fees, and/or room and board.

Since its inception, the TSAC scholarship program has awarded a total of more than $44,000.00, honoring talented artists Lane Stripling, Kenny Dorham, George Boyd, and Mary Wilson. This year TSAC will provide at least four $1000 scholarships.

Any eligible student currently attending high school in Fairfield, Teague, or Wortham may apply.

Applications are available online at trinitystarartscouncil.org.

Completed forms, hard copy only, should be submitted by April 20, 2026, at SHINE, located at 534 E. Commerce, in Fairfield, (903) 389-1475.
