Mark your calendars for the 13th annual Jay Alderman Memorial 42 Tournament on Saturday, February 22, 2020.


“We do this every year in Jay’s memory because he LOVED some 42. We charge for it so we can give scholarships in memory of him, so that his legacy will live on.”


Over the last 12 years, $33,000 has been given away in scholarships to Teague Seniors that were like Jay, in their interests and hobbies, lifestyle, and character.


“We couldn’t have done this without a HUGE support system, and the tons of people that loved Jay, and some that never even knew him. So, a BIG thank you to everyone that supports this year after year.”


The Jay Alderman Memorial 42 Tournament will take place on Saturday, February 22nd at the Family Life Center at Teague First Baptist Church.


Registration begins at 1:30 p.m., tourney starts at 2:00 p.m.


Cost is $20 per person to play.


Winners will get Hy-O Silver Belt Buckles, with Second place getting engraved dominoes.


Brisket lunch plate will be served for all players. There will be also a Bake Sale during the tournament.


All proceeds go to scholarships to Teague graduating seniors, in memory of Jay Alderman.
