WORKING ON A TIP FROM A BIOLOGIST on the Richland Creek WMA, a Freestone County Game Warden apprehended eight adult hunters on December 23, 2017 during a “youth/adult only” hunt on the unit.
With such hunts, youth hunters are to be the primary hunters, but are to be accompanied by adults, who may hunt with them.
These adult hunters, in this instance, failed to bring any youth hunters with them for the hunt. A total of 30 ducks were seized and donated to those in need in the local community.
The appropriate charges were filed.
