There were beauty queens and sparkles everywhere, as this year’s Miss Freestone County Scholarship Pageant took to the stage on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.
Seven young ladies competed for Miss Pre-Teen, six for Miss Teen, and two for Miss Freestone County.
This year’s line-up included the following contestants:
–Pre-Teen:
Haylee West,
Ayleah Duarte,
Phoebe Portillo-Hanzelka,
Ally Farmer,
Lillian Moore,
Brooke Fisk, and
Alayjiah Stanford.
–Teen:
Ava Oakes,
Allison Grant,
Cariss Capps,
Brook-Lyn Ansley,
Nevaeh Coaster, and
Gracie Brown.
–Miss:
Madison Newhouse and
Gabriella Diaz.
The girls sported casual wear, modeled their version of rodeo wear, and then graced the stage in beautiful formal wear to answer interview questions.
Awards were given to the contestants who brought in the most sponsorships for the pageant. Laney Lehman received the Sponsorship award for the Children’s Pageant.
Madison Newhouse was named Miss Congeniality for the Miss division.
Following was a Farewell to the 2023 Miss Freestone County Teen – Cadence Webster.
The position of Runner Up is important, as they will step up if Miss Teen or Miss Freestone County is unable to serve for any reason. This year’s Runners Up are as follows:
–Pre-Teen – Lillian Moore – 1st Runner Up; Brooke Fish – 2nd Runner Up
–Teen – Ava Oakes – 1st Runner Up; Cariss Capps – 2nd Runner Up
–Miss Freestone – Gabriella Diaz – 1st Runner Up (at top)
Crowned to serve Freestone County as this year’s queens were Miss Pre-Teen – Haylee West,
Miss Teen – Allison Grant, and
Miss Freestone County – Madison Newhouse.

Emcee for the evening was the lovely Miss Texas 2023 – Ellie Breaux.
Entertainment breaks were performed by Agigail Phillips, Gabriella Trevino, Lexi Goodson, Cadence Webster, Miss Texas Ellie Breaux, Meia Gilley, and Laney Lehman.
