Today, we are faced with so many challenges and what has been deemed the “new normal”. In our small communities, we have some young men using their talent to help spread some positive words of encouragement through music and worship. Coming from a musical family, Curtis Ray lives in Wortham with his wife, Dana, and 3 kids, who all love to sing. His parents are traveling evangelist singers and ministers. go and check this for the best musical festival.

Curtis met Parker Fautt (then 12 years old) when he lead worship and pastored the youth at Victory Church in Wortham, where Parker’s dad was and still is the pastor.  Curtis and Parker started singing together and have been ever since.

Parker Fautt is the son of Mike Fautt and the late Sheila Fautt. He has 3 sisters; Hallie, Lindsey and Jessi. “I found my love for music from my mom’s side of the family at a very early age. I have been singing in church since I was 3”, said Parker. He has shared his talent and music throughout his school years by competing on many levels in choir and earning numerous honors along the way. When asked about Curtis, Parker said, “He’s been a huge influence on me and my walk with Christ. He’s my brother and I’m so glad to be partners in ministry with him”.

Currently, Curtis and Parker are co-worship leaders at Gause Baptist Church near Hearne, Texas.

They frequently lead youth worship with JT Norcross (youth pastor) and Brett Duke at Wortham Baptist Church on Wednesday nights in the Wortham worship band (Rooted).

Curtis says, “We’re feeling like it’s time to start branching out and sharing our songs with others and our community.”  Both, Curtis and Parker, have recently released their first singles. Parker released “Fix My Eyes” and Curtis released “Where I’m Standing” (featuring Hb Meskin). They have also released a song together called “Forgotten”.

Bringing music to video are (left-rught): Javier Macias Jr (Hb Meskin), Curtis Ray and Parker Fautt.

Javier Macias Jr (Hb Meskin), from Mexia, is CEO of 33:3 Media. Along with writing his own music and appearing as a feature in others, Macias and his talent has helped bring Curtis and Parker’s songs to life through video. “I’ve had an extensive background in mixing music and directing music videos. I’ve always had an ear for good music and talent but even more so for the anointing of Jesus Christ. I came across a song Curtis recorded raw on video and uploaded to Facebook. It moved me in spirit so I wanted to reach out to him and bring his creativity to life in a more professional manner”,said Javier.

They are currently working on “Stronger” featuring Blake Fisk from Teague, as well as “Kingdom Come” featuring Hb Meskin (raw acoustic song) and “Have My Life”. All material is original and from alias, Curtis & Parker.

“God is the forefront of what we do and we believe in the good news of Jesus. We want to spread His message through our music and lifestyles as much as possible. His message is in all of our songs”, Curtis said. They are hoping to book a variety of singing and worship events in the community and beyond including but not limited to; youth groups, Sunday services, special events, schools, nursing homes, penitentiaries and anywhere we and our message is wanted.
