Do you have a 4×4?
Well, bring it out to “The 4×4 Classic” and enter it in this year’s show.
Wortham Volunteer Fire Department presents “The 4×4 Classic” on Saturday, August 3, 3019.
Entry fee is $20.
Judging will start at 8:00 a.m. that morning. There will be lots of categories and custom awards.
Admission to the event is $5. Kids 12 and under, 65 and over, and First Responders admitted free of charge.
Poker Run begins at 10:00 a.m. Entry fee is $20 with 50% payback to winner. Must check in by 3:00 p.m.
Obstacle Course and Mud Pit opens at 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Cost is $10.
Mud Pit is $20 with 50% payback to longest run or fastest time, IF someone makes it through.
Two pits available, including an ATV pit.
Cross Pit Challenge begins at 4:00 p.m. Entry fee is $100 with 50% payout to winner, again, IF anyone makes it across.
Awards start at 6:00 p.m.
Kid events will begin at 10:00 a.m. and last through the day.
Horseshoe Tournament begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by Washer Tournament. Buckles awarded to winners of each.
Live Entertainment by “45 South” will take the stage from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m..
Event is happening at the Oil City Park, East FM 27 in Wortham, Texas.
Proceeds benefit Wortham Volunteer Fire Department.
