Another busy month for the Wortham Police Department.
During the month of August, the PD responded to 131 calls for service which included 8 motor vehicle accidents and 21 arrests.
Charges included assault on a police officer, driving while intoxicated, money laundering, and multiple drug and weapons offenses.
“Wortham PD continues to be proactive to reduce crime and keep drugs off our streets and out of the hands of our children.”
