The Lady Bulldogs continued to pressure the Bremond front line and the game was close in the beginning with Wright and Goolsby providing the senior leadership in the net. Wright had a kill to tie the game at 13-13 and then McBride built a lead to 18-14. Wright served an ace and Phillips had a kill to get within 18-17, and finally McBride took over and led the Tigers to the win.
