Wortham High School and Ex-Students celebrated Homecoming last week.
The annual observance included a Bonfire on Wednesday evening. The Mighty Bulldog Band (at top) kept the crowd pumped.
Leading the way to light the fire are this year’s Mr. & Miss WHS, James Rissmiller and Madison Newhouse.
These two outstanding WHS seniors were also recognized during halftime at the Homecoming game on Friday night.
Wortham mascot, Bones, took some celebrity shots in front of the bonfire.
And the senior graduating class of 2024 took a moment for a group picture.
Also recognized during halftime were Homecoming Queen Riley Winstead (crowned by Allie McCoslin),
and Homecoming King Anthony Fortoul (crowned by Jason Evans).
Students, alumni, and community enjoy a Pep Rally Friday afternoon in downtown Wortham, Texas during Homecoming weekend.
Also recognized during the Homecoming game on Friday night were Band Sweetheart & Beau, FFA Sweetheart & Beau, and Football Sweetheart & Cheerleader Beau:
