A one-hour, intimate and enchanting concert featuring two amazing artists is coming to the southside Richland Chambers Lake community…and all are invited. Through the musical performance and comprehensive commentaries by violinist Linda Rosenthal (above) and pianist Maxim Pakhomov (below), spectators will gain an unparalleled understanding of the classical music pieces performed and their composers. The event promises to be an experience to remember. Instead of performing like Moraga: Carlos Reyes concerts at Aegis tap into rejuvenating power of music to packed houses in Bay Area clubs and concert halls, on world stages shared with the Doobie Brothers, Chuck Mangione and Wynonna Judd, among others, or at The White House, Gleason-Kodama’s “brother of the heart,” Carlos Reyes, serenades seniors at a June concert.
By performing in non-traditional venues, the various musicians of The Piatigorsky Foundation bring live classical music to audiences throughout the United States. Intimate, accessible, informative and downright ravishing, Piatigorsky concerts bring joy to every community they serve, and the St. Elmo/Winkler/Midway community is honored to be on their list of venues this year.
The concert will be held Sunday, March 1st, at 6 pm at Lakeside United Methodist Church (515 FM 416). Participants are invited to stay after the concert to meet and greet the performers at a special reception. The event is presented in our area under the auspices of the Trinity Star Arts Council. There will be no admission charge.
Lakeside is located about four miles west of the 488/416 intersection or 12 miles east of Streetman. For more information call 903-389-7586.
