Christmas is almost here, and beginning next week, Freestone County schools will be closing their doors so that students and teachers may enjoy a much-needed Winter Break.
Fairfield
Fairfield Junior High and High School performed Christmas concerts this week. Next week on Monday, December 18th will be the Elementary School’s annual Christmas Concert.
The Fairfield ISD Board of Trustees have been meeting this week to interview potential candidates for the Superintendent of Schools position.
Early Release will be on Thursday, December 21st, with the Winter Break lasting from December 22nd – January 9th.
Teague
Teague High School will host their Deck the Halls event on Tuesday, December 19th. This will also be the day of the Junior High and High School Band Concert.
Early release for all Teague ISD campuses will be observed on Wednesday, December 20th and Thursday, Dec. 21st.
Christmas Break will be from December 23rd – January 5th. Monday, January 8th will be a Student Holiday / Staff Development Day.
Wortham
Wortham students will have early release on Friday, December 22nd. Christmas break will be from December 25 – January 8th.
Dew
Dew ISD’s Christmas Program Extravaganza will be held on Tuesday, December 19th.
Class Christmas parties will be held on Thursday, December 21st as they mark the end of the 2nd 9 weeks.
Staff will have a workday on Friday, December 22nd, and Winter Break will be from December 25 – January 5th.
Faith Academy of Freestone
Faith Academy of Freestone will have early dismissal on Thursday, December 21st. Winter Break will be from December 22nd – January 9th.
